ava_2005_winner_100pxava_2005The Dental Channel have been awarded the Digital Media Project of the Year Award for the CD-ROM Pulp Afflictions at the AV Awards, Hilton London Metropole on 10th October 2005.  The award ceremony was hosted by Lucy Alexander, ITV news anchor, and the Digital Media Project award was presented by Mr Stuart Hudson, Managing Director, NEC Display Solutions.  The award was accepted by Andrew Gould on behalf of The Dental Channel.

The judges explained that "Pulp Afflictions won because of the comprehensive way in which the program had been peer-reviewed, its success in reaching an audience which had to elect to use the programme and the broad distribution of the programme."

The cleverly titled program "Pulp Afflictions" is a fantastic example of how e-learning can emcompass innovative audio-visual elements to engineer an extremely engaging learning experience.  The Dental Channel have created a variety of titles on CD-ROM which have been critically acclaimed by the dental, audio-visual and e-learning industries.  More information on these CD-ROM titles can be found on our website.
