Verifiable CPD
Webinars meet the GDC requirements for verifiable CPD:
- Clear learning aims, objectives and outcomes so that participants know exactly how each webinar will help to develop and improve their own CPD
- An evaluation is completed after the event so participants are able to comment on the experience and help us to improve the quality of our services
- A certificate is available to download on completion of the evaluation
Recordings
Unlike conventional lectures we publish a recording that is available to view until the next live event. This is ideal if you were unable to attend the live event or wish to review the presentation. CPD certification is available on completion of the recording and evaluation if you miss the live event.
On-demand webinar
Most events are are edited and converted into an on-demand version. This includes CPD questions, a discussion forum and links to related resources. The on-demand webinars may be purchased individually or are included with our annual subscription bundles.

Questions
Some common questions are given below. Click to display the answers.
If your question is not included please contact us.
A webinar is an online seminar that you watch via your PC from the comfort of your home or workplace. Once you have booked you will be sent a link by email with your joining instructions approximately seven days before the event. For practices attending as a group the email is sent to the nominated practice contact, who is responsible for coordinating with your practice staff to ensure they attend the event.
You may listen to the presentation and questions, though you will derive greatest benefit by actively participating in the event.
Unlike conventional lectures our webinars provide an informal atmosphere and the added benefit of private chat, comments and questions.
After the live event you login to the course on the web site and complete the short evaluation. A certificate is available to download approximately 48 hours later. Please note that the course is available for approximately 4 weeks after the event and the certificate must be downloaded in that period. There is an administration charge for issuing certificates after the course has been closed.
You (or the nominated practice coordinator) will receive confirmation from us and then joining instructions by email approximately 1 week prior to the live event.
As long as you have basic computer skills and a reliable broadband connection you will be able to get involved. We run a test session 48 hours before the event to make sure that your computer is configured correctly and to give you a quick guide to the webinar process. It should take no more than 15 minutes and we are sure you will be impressed!
We also open the webinar session an hour early on the day of the event so that you can login early. A freephone number is available for any technical difficulties once the event has started.
Yes, you can submit questions to the presenter anytime before or during the webinar by email or by using the chat window. Questions will be addressed during the question and answer session.
The topics are mainly clinical, but with some business and personal development too. We include the core recommended subjects.
With a practice subscription up to 10 practice staff can participate from the practice with a single connection. Any additional practice locations will each require a practice subscription. Contact us for group discount rates.
A recording of the live event will be available to review for approximately 4 weeks after the event.
