About the Presenter
Andrew Gould established The Dental Channel way back in the last century (1997). He qualified at King's in 1988 and has worked within within NHS, private and hospital practice. Outside of The Dental Channel he works as a clinical teacher in paediatric dentistry at King's College London Dental Institute and in private practice.
His interest in developing e-learning (or interactive multimedia as it was first known) started whilst still a dental student, and has worked with learning technologies both within and without of dentistry.
The purpose of The Dental Channel is to help dental professionals keep up to date and thereby make the most of their chosen profession by using information technology in interesting, engaging and effective ways.
The Dental Channel has produced a wide range of e-learning and has won numerous prestigious awards for its approach so hopefully it is doing something right.
