Coordinators should:

• Confirm by email all staff attending prior to the event
• Have received a registration email required to join the webinar
• Join the session using the link in the registration email 15 minutes prior to the start time

Participants should:

• Complete an evaluation within 48 hours of the event (Links)
• Download their certificate; this will be available approximately 72 hours after the event ( Gradebook)
• Use the discussion forum to continue exploring topics of interest.

The primary coordinator for each dental practice will receive a live webinar registration email which will include your unique password and Registration ID to join the live session. You will need this to login to the webinar.

To join the webinar, simply follow the instructions provided in the confirmation email.

At the bottom of the email is a link that adds the webinar event to your calendar program (e.g. Microsoft Outlook). This will then automatically prompt you to join the session on the day (a reminder will also be sent via email 24 hours prior to the event)

To join the webinar you will need:

• Windows PC/Apple Macintosh* and broadband connection (a wired connection rather than wireless connection is recommended)
• Basic computer skills
• Loudspeakers or headset

The following are recommended to make the most of the session but not neccesary

• Webcam (*not supported on the Mac)
• A microphone or headset

• The primary contact should click the link in the confirmation email.
  - If you can't find the original email, you will be sent a reminder email 24 hours before the event.
• The session web page will open and your login details will be entered automatically - login details can be found in the confirmation email
• Click "Join now"
• Follow the prompts and run the audio setup wizard to check your sound settings (you must accept the invitation to join the "VoIP session" to hear the audio)
• You will then join the conference "room" and be greeted by the host

If you added the webinar to your calendar program (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) then you can click the link in your calendar to join the webinar

• We run a test session 48 hours before the event to make sure that your computer is configured correctly and to give you a quick guide to the webinar process. This should take no longer than 15 minutes.
• We also open the webinar session an hour early on the day of the event so that you can login early. A freephone number is available (0800 358 1236) for any technical difficulties once the event has started.

• Please login at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the webinar following the confirmation email instructions
• If this is your first time we highly recommend joining the test session (see above) to make sure that your computer is configured correctly
• If you require technical assistance call (0800 358 1236 and quote The Dental Channel as webinar host) and have your confirmation email to hand

A recording of the live event will be available to review for 7 days after the event. Click Links then "Recording" to view.

The on-demand webinar is an edited recording of the live event which is available with quiz questions. Watch the presentation and complete the quiz to gain 1 extra hour of verifiable CPD each month. The on-demand course can be watched at your convenience from any computer with an internet connection and can be accessed by all live webinar participants.

• Select Evaluate from Links and complete the online evaluation within 48 hours. This option will be available immediately after the webinar.
• Once the evaluation is completed your CPD certificate will be made available in the Gradebook (please allow 72 hours after the event).

A webinar is an online seminar that you watch via your PC from the comfort of your practice. You watch the presentation, listen to the speaker, and interact with other participants. Unlike conventional seminars, our webinars provide an informal atmosphere and the added benefit of private chat, comments and questions.

As long as you have basic computer skills and a reliable broadband connection you will be able to get involved. We run a test session 48 hours before the event to make sure that your computer is configured correctly and to give you a quick guide to the webinar process. Yes, you can submit questions to the presenter anytime before or during the webinar by email or by using the chat window. Questions will be addressed during the question and answer session.
