Membership of The Dental Channel is free but access to any of our paid courses requires an active CPD subscription. Until recently this was either via a recurring annual bundle plan (Complete 365/Core 365) or non-recurring monthly one (single course/Complete 1/12 bundle). Whilst trying to cater for everyone we ended up creating confusion: go to a course and you could see up to four options. Headache!

Three become one

Substantial changes to the website behind the scenes have enabled us to create the new Premium plan, combining the Complete 365, Core 365 and individual course subscriptions into one. This provides numerous benefits aside from consolidation.

Flexibility

The Premium plan provides access to all our regular CPD courses, both live and on-demand for a month on a recurring payment model. If you only want to pay for one month you can enrol and then cancel the recurring payment via your PayPal account; you will only be charged for one month. Otherwise let it continue for as long as you wish.

Value

The monthly payment remains the same to protect you against price rises whilst your subscription remains active. But if the opportunity arises to subscribe at a lower rate, cancel your existing membership and then renew at the lower rate.

Our individual course subscriptions used to cost £30 but now for £24.99 all our regular courses are available, and if you take advantage of the current discount coupon the first month is even less.

First month for £10

We are currently offering a discounted rate for the first month. Enter the discount coupon code PREMIUMTRIAL at checkout and get the first month for £10. If you don't want to continue simply cancel via PayPal. NB This can only be used once.

Membership information

Once enrolled your membership status is displayed on each course page and from your account menu under Membership, where you can also download your invoices. Automated email reminders are sent as a courtesy reminder too (if you do not receive these please check your junk mail and add us to your address book or 'safe senders' list).

Current annual subscriptions

Whilst the Complete 365 and Core 365 plans are no longer published, members holding either will continue unaffected. Existing rates are preserved: we reward loyalty!

Complete 1/12

We are aware that not everyone wants to use PayPal, so our Complete 1/12 plan is still available to subscribe using a credit or debit card either online or over the phone. This is a non-recurring plan that runs for a single month.

Spread the word (and discount coupon)

The new Premium plan opens our unique quality-assured, CPD resources to all dental professionals, especially DCPs and the newly qualified. We progress by learning with and from each other, so enrol, enjoy the courses and spread the word! And don't forget the discount coupon.

Achievements

Founder and owner of The Dental Channel. Clinical teacher in paediatric dentistry at King's College London Dental Institute. I wrote my first e-learning program in 1992 whilst working as an SHO in paediatric dentistry at King's College London, and then went on to work in all sorts of IT projects outside of dentistry. The Dental Channel was established in 1998 to develop e-learning courses for dentistry so I could combine my profession with my interests in IT. The first titles were developed for the Department of Health, and won numerous national awards. In 2006 the company pioneered the use of live web-based training, running monthly events since. I completed a Masters in Clinical Pedagogy at King's Learning Institute in 2015.
